About Us

Artemo – Elevating Your Everyday Rituals Since 2001

Founded in 2001 with roots in European artisan engineering, Artemo was born from a singular vision: to bridge the gap between high-end professional kitchen technology and the personal warmth of the home. Over the past two decades, we have evolved from a specialized boutique brand into a global leader in premium kitchenware, now bringing our "Design for Life" philosophy to a new generation of style-conscious households in the US and beyond.

At Artemo, we don't just build appliances; we curate the moments that define your day. Our 19-bar fully automatic espresso machines are engineered to capture the true soul of Italian coffee, while our innovative cold-press juicers preserve the raw vitality of nature. Every curve, every button, and every function is a testament to our commitment to precision, durability, and the art of living well.

Welcome to the Artemo lifestyle. Crafted with art, designed for your life.

From a German Family, for Global Living

"My father and I created Artemo because we believed that people deserved more than just a product — they deserved a promise. A promise that the kitchen appliances in their homes would be crafted with care, built to last, and designed to make everyday life a little more beautiful."

— Burhan Asan, Founder & Owner, HATEX Group

Our Journey: Heritage, Craft & Innovation

The story of Artemo cannot be separated from the glorious development of the HATEX Group, a time-honored family enterprise rooted in Krefeld, Germany — a city famous for silk craftsmanship and industrial manufacturing since the 18th century.
In 1977, Hasan Asan founded Hasan Textil in Krefeld, officially kicking off the family’s business journey. Starting from textile import and export, the company gradually accumulated rich experience in global trade, supply chain management and quality control, and laid a solid foundation for the later expansion into home and kitchen products.
In 1997, Burhan Asan, the second generation of the family, joined the enterprise. With forward-looking strategic vision, he decided to expand the business boundary from the textile industry to the household goods sector, focusing on kitchen utensils and daily home products. Under his promotion, the family stepped into a new stage of diversified development.
Two years later, in 1999, the family launched SCHÄFER, the first kitchenware brand of the group, marking the formal layout of HATEX in the global kitchen market. Relying on mature supply chains and German quality standards, SCHÄFER quickly won recognition in Europe, which also paved the way for the birth of a high-end kitchen appliance brand.
In 2001, based on years of market research and technical accumulation, Burhan Asan officially created Artemoin Krefeld. Positioned as the group’s top-tier premium brand, Artemo takes European minimalism as its design core and original functional R&D as its competitiveness. It abandons impetuous trend chasing and focuses on creating durable, elegant and user-friendly kitchen appliances. This is the original intention of Artemo’s birth: to integrate art into daily cooking and let high-quality craftsmanship accompany every ordinary day.
In 2002, to adapt to the scale of diversified brands, Hasan Textil was officially renamed HATEX AS GmbH & Co. KG, completing the group’s institutional upgrading. Since then, the group has entered a period of rapid brand expansion.
In 2013, HATEX acquired the well-known home brand MICHELINO, further enriching the product line of home furnishings and tableware. In 2014, the group took over Lentz, a professional household appliance brand, and established Flora to expand the B2B supply chain business. In 2016, Hoffmann’s Home was launched to cover bathroom and storage products. The continuous expansion of the brand matrix has continuously strengthened HATEX’s comprehensive strength, and also provided Artemo with more sufficient technical support, raw material resources and global sales channels.
After more than two decades of development, Artemo has always adhered to its original positioning. Rooted in the HATEX family’s long-term philosophy of integrity and preciseness, it insists on independent R&D and strict quality inspection. At present, Artemo has officially stepped into the global market. It brings authentic European design and German craftsmanship to families across the United States, Europe and more regions.
From Hasan Asan’s initial entrepreneurship to Burhan Asan’s inheritance and innovation; from a single textile company to a comprehensive group with multiple brands; from regional sales to global layout — every step of growth witnesses the persistence of a German family enterprise. For Artemo, the future will still be based on heritage, driven by innovation, and continue to interpret the perfect combination of art, design and craftsmanship.
